Cruze James

James Cruze (né le 27 mars 1884 à Ogden, Utah et mort le 3 août 1942 (à 58 ans) à Los Angeles) est un acteur, réalisateur, producteur et scénariste américain.

Il débute au cinéma comme acteur et joue dans plusieurs films au sein de la Thanhouser Company, parmi lesquels Docteur Jekyll et M. Hyde ou The Million Dollar Mystery. Devenu réalisateur, il dirigea plusieurs films avec en vedette Wallace Reid.

James Cruze s'est marié une première fois à l'actrice Marguerite Snow en 1913.
